Today I got THEEE best news!

I got my acceptance letter for my summer internship. I applied a couple months ago and I finally heard back, I am going to be working in the child development labs at hill air force base.

This was only the first bit of awesome the news, the best part is that to launch my internship, I am being sent on an all expense paid trip to Columbia, Maryland for an orientation and conference.

I am SO excited, and feeling very old and mature...just graduating and going to conferences...no big deal.

Looks like my life will be undergoing some big changes in the next little while and I am thrilled about it; I am feeling very thankful for all the experiences I have had that have brought me here!

10 years

In a few short months I will be a college graduate. The realization that after four years of college I am actually finishing is stirring up a lot of anxiety in me. Until this point, my life has been mapped out- after high school I was always going to go to college. Now that the college chapter of my life is wrapping up I feel like I am nearing the end of a tunnel...a tunnel that I have been traveling in for quite a while...and I honestly don't know what I'm going to see when I exit the tunnel, I have no idea what to expect. So...today I created my 10 year bucket list. My new path for after graduation, because as they say, "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail."
Well here is my plan...

Graduate from college
Sky Dive
Take the GRE
Get accepted into graduate school
Get my masters in family therapy
Be an awesome therapist
Run a half marathon
Travel to Hawaii, Italy and Thailand
Write a song

Day 2 of my diet- things are going well. I have to lose .18 pounds everyday to lose 15 pounds by my birthday....seems do-able, and by do-able I mean cutting out about 600 calories daily, feeling hungry ALL the time, and working out like it is my job. But my cute room mate is doing it with me and it will all be worth it!

My genetics class is going to be the death of me.

I cannot wait for spring break!!!!

I found out both of the classes I need are offered online this summer so my graduation date is set in stone!

I wait all year for a certain event...it's called MARDI GRA!
Said event was last night and it did not disappoint...

Tarot card reading. Black Jack. Energy Drinks. Russian Roulette. DANCE PARTY!

Side note: See the kid next to Jackie with the sexy strong jaw line....well he was teaching me how to play black jack and giving me tips while in return I was giggling and throwing him sultry looks. As I'm getting up the nerve to openly hit on him and give him my number...his fiance walks up.

Proof that no one should live in Logan, Utah

I am chilled to the bone--literally. It is f.r.e.e.z.i.n.g. in Logan. Try 7 degrees with a wind that slices through all of your layers. Irregardless I still had a beautiful music day. I studied genetics for four hours straight with my good friend Pandora and I discovered 8 new songs....love that!
